Ruben obtained a master degree in Photonics Engineering from Ghent university in 2023. His master thesis covered the topic of bringing nonlinearities to the single-photon level on thin-film lithium niobate. In 2023, he started a PhD at the photonics research group, starting to work on photonic reservoir computing.Specific Research Topics
