EvangeliaDelli
Evangelia Delli is a doctor in Engineering who obtained her Ph.D in III-V semiconductors engineering from Lancaster University, Engineering Department in 2020 and the M.Sc. in Material Science and Engineering from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Physics Department in 2005. Her PhD research interest included the growth, characterization and study of III-V semiconductor thin films for optoelectronic application, which lead to several high impact publications and a patent. Following the successful completion of her Ph.D, she started working in the Physics Department of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki as a Post-doctorate Researcher focusing on the structural, mechanical and thermal characterization of materials. She also works in collaboration with research groups from Lancaster University which enables further developments on the research conducted during her Ph.D.
In 2023, she joined Ghent University-IMEC as a postdoctoral researcher to work on micro-transfer printing of InP lasers on silicon photonics ICs. Her work focuses on the reliability of micro-tranfer printed devices on Si platforms using a large variety of aging and characterization techniques.
