Abstract
We describe the use of two-photon absorption in submicron silicon wire waveguides for all-optical wavelength conversion by crossabsorption modulation scheme. Optical pulses at 1GHz repetition rate have been successfully converted from 1550nm to 1544nm. Related Research Topics
