Dr. Awanish Pandey (Postdoctoral Researcher)

Awanish Pandey was born in Uttar Pradesh, India. He received his Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech.) degree in Electronics and Communication (ECE) from Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Jabalpur. During his B. Tech, he worked on the numerical investigation of plasmonic nanoantennae. He joined Indian Institute of Science as a research scholar at Centre for NanoScience and Engineering with Prof. Shankar K. Selvaraja in 2014. His research work involved design, fabrication, and characterization of integrated photonic devices for application in microwave photonics and optical communication. In 2019, he joined Ghent University-IMEC as a postdoctoral researcher where he is currently working on Silicon optomechanics.
