Abstract
In this research we investigate how we can apply the concept of reservoir computing onto a nanophotonic integrated circuit. We benchmark the resulting reservoir using a speech recognition task and a signal generation task. During the thesis, a novel simulation framework was developed to simulate these highly nonlinear, very large optical circuits. Related Research Topics
