Abstract

A heterogeneously integrated silicon-lithium niobate microring modulator is realized by transfer-printing lithium niobate on a silicon platform. The integrated Si-LN microring modulator has an insertion loss of ̶1.5dB and an extinction ratio of ̶37dB. The tuning efficiency is 3.8pm/V
