Dr. Zheng Wang was born in Zhangjiakou, Hebei, P.R. China. He received his B.S. in Mathematics and Physics from Tsinghua University in 2012, and his Ph.D. in Material Science and Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin in 2017. His research focuses on design, fabrication, and characterization of nanophotonic devices and photonic integrated circuits for their applications including optical interconnects, microwave/RF signal generation and processing, optical phased array, high-performance computing, and biochemical sensing. He has over 30 publications in refereed journals and conferences.
