BertDe Deckere
Hello there, I received my MSc. in electrical engineering: electronic circuits and systems and MSc. in photonics engineering from Ghent University in 2016. Currently I'm employed at Antwerp Space, where I do my PhD. This is done in cooperation with Ghent where I am involved in the development and design of optical beam steering devices. These are to be used for optical intersatellite communication between geostationary and lower earth orbit spacecrafts. This research topic is carried out under the supervision of mainly prof. Wim Bogaerts, but also prof. Gunther Roelkens (from the side of UGent) and Lieven Thomassen (from Antwerp Space).
