ChiaraAlessandri
Chiara was born in 1990. She received the Doctoral Degree (PhD) in Photonics Engineering in September 2020 with the thesis entitled "Graphene-Silicon Photonics Integrated Devices for Optical Interconnects". She received the Master Degree in Physics with summa cum laude from Universita degli Studi di Milano in February 2015 with the thesis "Production and characterisation of high speed graphene-based broadband optical modulators". She performed the thesis work during a 9 months internship in imec, Leuven. She received the Bachelor Degree in Physics from Universita degli Studi di Milano in October 2012 with the thesis "Production of optical radiation through a Free Electron Laser, using a comb electron beam".

As of February 2020, she is working as sales and application engineer at Luceda Photonics in Belgium.
